Empowering Your Birth Experience

I was born in a family of naturalist, and a family with very powerful women who have paved the path and molded me to the woman I am. We talked often of how many of them have taken a more holistic path to childbirth, it was just normal to me, and I knew since a child I too, was going to have an unmedicated birth. When the time came, I took hypnobirthing classes and learned very quickly the way I was raised was not how the world was raised. It was so heart-wrenching to watch women be fearful of childbirth or have no knowledge of childbirth or their options in it. This was the start of my drive to want to educate women. After having my first birth, I spoke with other young moms and heard their horror stories. I felt guilty sharing how perfect my birth had gone (now including my other three). I wanted women to be able to ENJOY giving birth just like I did. I wanted them to feel all the empowering feelings I felt, hence the name. I am birthing came to me strongly, I wanted a name that encompassed that we are MADE to do this. We don’t just have birth, we are birth and birth is and can be all these amazing words I have written here. I have witnessed it through others, and I have accomplished it in myself. It IS possible to have a wonderful, relaxing, enjoyable birth and I knew I was called to give women exactly that.
